Pets and their Homes – “宠物的家”

Before the teacher introduced the theme “Pets and their Homes” , she got the children to make their favourite pet headgear so as to allow the children the opportunity to pretend play and learn all about pets, their homes, the food they eat etc.

Next up, came other activities like feeding Blossom’s very own rabbits and using their imagination and creativity to build and design a recycled cardboard 3D home for the pretend pets! These activities were done to reinforce our theme-based, hands-on learning. And importantly, to inculcate in our children, a respect for pets and responsible pet ownership by learning the proper way of handling and caring for them.

老师在主题教学“宠物的家”之前,和小朋友一起做准备活动,制作宠物头饰,让小朋友们了解其外形的特征。老师把做好的宠物头饰贴白板上,通过提问和指认形式,幼儿们很快熟悉了不同宠物和他们爱吃的食物,并且对接下来的游戏活动产生好奇和期待!宠物最能吸引孩子们的注意力和兴趣。老师设计了本次教学活动,通过各种形式多样的游戏活动,目的是为了让幼儿认识常见的宠物,培养他们爱护小动物的情感。Pet Rabbit这是在主题活动前,老师带幼儿去户外观察宠物.以让他们认识并引起对宠物的注意和兴趣.

Build Pets Home“小朋友们,让我们一起为宠物们造房子吧! 给他们搭建一个温暖的家!” 幼儿在和老师一起帮宠物建房子的过程中,不但认识了不同宠物的家以及它们吃的食物,同时也提高了幼儿的动手能力。
