On December 24, Blossom Berrykidz celebrated its Christmas Party cum Excursion.
To kick start the day, we read a story that helped the children learn the importance of Christmas. We sang a few Christmas carols before playing some fun games. The Playgroup and N1 children played the all-time favourite Musical Chairs. The N2s played Candy Relay while the K1s and K2s had fun participating in the Spoon Relay. We were almost finished with the games when our bus arrived at 9:30. We were all very excited and could not wait to go to Kids Amaze!
We were among the first ones to arrive at the indoor playground. The visually stunning interactive soft play centre was especially designed to promote children’s sense of direction, motion and coordination. The playground arena consisted of three interconnected themed zones: The Cave, Tree Tops and The City.
The Cave was a big hit among the children. It was where the ball pits and the foam ball shooters could be found! There was a machine that sucked foam balls into a huge basket on the second level. This basket overturns every now and then sending ‘ball showers’ down onto the delighted kids below.
At The City zone, slides of different sizes and shapes can be found. The wave slides and the two other curved tube slides proved to be too enticing for children to resist!
The Tree Tops zone was quite a challenging one for the children. It was made up of tunnels and bridges with obstacles and tiny holes where children could squeeze in. There were lots of areas for climbing, running, and hiding too!
The day was packed with so many activities that left us all feeling hungry. When we got back to the centre, a special Christmas lunch was waiting for us. We had so much fun chatting with friends while enjoying the delicious food that Aunty prepared for us. We ended the day by giving presents and watching a short movie.
What terrific fun we all had! It was definitely a memorable day for the children and teachers at Blossom Berrykidz.
