With Christmas gifts in their hands, the BAC kids arrived in school, anticipating the fun day ahead. The teachers and staff and children all dressed in their party clothes, looking our best!
What a delightful sight! ‘Fa la la la la la la la la la …’ as the children practiced and tried to outdo each other to sing the longest ‘la’ this Christmas. The determined ones took in mouthfuls of air and puffed their cheeks before they started to sing. Everyone experienced the peace this Christmas as the silent ‘la’ lingered on. Indeed, it was a real test of determination and perseverance.
The spirit of Christmas was ignited when the cute playgroup children shaked their bottoms, moving to the beat of ‘Jingle Bells’, with the Kindermusik bells in their hands. It was heart-warming to see them bravely present the item with joy! The rest of the older kids clapped and cheered them on and sang along with glee.
Passing Santa’s Magical Box around is a great excitement among the children. They could not contain their curiosity when it was their turn to open up the Magical Box and solve the riddles with pictorial illustration. They had fun doodling the Christmas symbols and walking away with their gifts. Most of them look forward to the ‘Jolly Exchange’ too. They could not wait to dip their chubby hands into ‘Santa’s bag’ to feel for the biggest gift they could grab. “Oh my, I’ve got a big gift! Whose present did I get?”
‘Santa’ rewarded the children too by filling their stockings with candy canes, chocolates and other goodies. There was still plenty of room in the Christmas stocking for them to bring home. Who knows, Santa will visit and pack their stockings with lots of toys.
