Learning to interact as part of a community is an important lesson for children. At Blossom, it is part of our teaching curriculum to help our little ones understand that everyone plays an important role in forming a community.
The classroom is the first community that many children belong to outside of their family. In many ways, it is a microcosm of the larger community and by learning to function as a part of the classroom community, children can then take these same skills and apply them to the larger community.
As such, we are honoured to work hand in hand with our friendly neighbourhood library by inviting a librarian over to Blossom Discovery Centre to be our storyteller for a day! Let the storyteller engage your child, weave a web of enchantment and transport your child from their everyday world into the world of imagination and fantasy!
All children between the ages of 4-6 are welcome!
