The June holidays has always been an exciting month for the children to look forward to as they know that they will be in for some outing “treats”.
This June holiday was no exception as the children and teachers throttled to the Central Fire Station to pay a visit to the fire engines and firemen!
Under the guidance of a fireman guide, the children were given a tour of the gallery where they saw replicas of fire engines from the past, the official fireman’s uniform through the years, etc.
The children also watched an educational video on the daily life of a fireman. What an interesting job a fireman has indeed!
Our K1 and K2 children were also introduced to a brief history of the Central Fire Station. With such real life, hands-on experience, the children now have a better understanding of the work of a fireman!
