In line with this June Holiday theme, “Games and Picnic”, our children and parents went for a walk in the park and a picnic at our neighbourhood park, “Tavistock Avenue Park” on 29 Jun 2009.

It was a fun-filled experience for the children exploring a few traditional games played in the early days like chatek, five stones and yo-yo. Thrills and excitement filled the air of the pavilion when the children were gathered in a big circle playing “The Duck-Duck-Goose” game.

“Come on boys and girls, let’s start working out before we play some games. Bend your knees and move this way!”

The Kindergarten children enjoyed tossing their chateks to see whose can go the highest!

After the games, the children and the parents were served a variety of food arranged in a mini buffet style. The children beamed with joy and laughter while having their lunch with the company of their buddies and friends.
