Try not to miss any of the excursions we organise at Blossom, as they are not only packed with fun but filled with opportunities for the children to pick up knowledge of the world around them through hands-on, real life experiences. No better way to learn really, than to exercise all 5 senses while having a ball of a time interacting with peers on the excursion bus and venues.
For our September Holiday Excursion, off we went to Healthzone at Health Promotion Board to learn all about healthy living.
The children were awestruck at many of the life-sized exhibits that depicted lifestyle scenarios and models of food that promote healthy living. Being 3- dimensional and filled with life-like models of food, the food pyramid was an instant hit at the exhibition, especially among the Kindergarten children, as they had been introduced to it in school and did their very own version of it. They could even recall a lot of information related to it too, much to the delight and satisfaction of the teachers!
Another exciting highlight of the excursion was the ‘Fun-xercise’ for the Kindergarten children, an upbeat aerobic session with really adorable actions and catchy music! The children loved participating in the session and were so hooked on it that they all came back reciting the catchy phrases they were taught along with the exercise. They even requested for their teachers to try out the whole exercise at school again! Check out the fun they had!!!
